Good morning, Diary. As my alarm clock was kind enough to glitch and wake me up two hours early, I decided to get this out of the way now rather than waiting until after a day of battling to write something up. So no after-battle report, but I'm afraid you'll just have to deal. On the plus side, I got to take my daily walk of the station early, and believe me when I say the ordeal was somewhat eerie, if not outright creepy. I'm already a bit of an early-riser (at least, compared to my lazy ass back when I was still just a civilian) so waking up even earlier meant that a good portion of the station was still snoring away. There was the odd utility worker or cleaning bot, but for the most part my usual route was pretty much deserted. At least it was quiet, something I rarely can get outside of my room, and I'll be damned if it wasn't kinda calming to just hear the soft hum of the station as I looked out a window into space...

...Of course, it wasn't long before everyone else began to get up as well, and that was when I found another plus of getting up early was beating the rest of the station to breakfast. It was probably just in my head, but I like to think it was somehow all the sweeter for being the first meal served that day. Suck it, random people aboard the station!

Anyway, after breakfast was the usual routine; Coffee, exercise, shower, pick out contracts for the day, etc. Having picked out a few to head out later on, I began to pull up my the loadouts I have for the suits I use in battle. Truth be told they've felt like a complete clusterfuck lately, and I really needed to sort all this stuff out if I wanted to be more efficient in battle. The weaponry and suits are fine, but the equipment and modules needed a bit of tweaking. Took me longer than I'd like to admit, but I managed to rough out a rough semblance of usefulness versus price across the board, I think.

Checking my messages from last night, I received a couple pieces about rumors that Gallente and the other major players across New Eden plan on putting out more of their own specific dropsuits for us to use. I'm...not entirely sure why, if I'm honest. Strapping on a Caldari suit isn't  going to make me any less likely to work against them, but I've never been one to look gift horse in the mouth, so if they want to provide us with stronger suits to keep from getting blown up I'm not about to raise a hand against them. They'll probably require more training though, blegh.

At any rate, it's time for me to go for my first contract of the day. Here's to kicking ass and melting faces.

-End Log.
